Welcome to Daling’s Homepage!

I am Daling Shi, a research assistant in the BIT Lab at Boston University, advised by Prof. Dokyun Lee. Previously, I obtained my master’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Boston University (BU) and bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Hohai University (HHU). I had also been a research intern in the Computer Application Technology Lab at Hohai University, advised by Prof. Jun Feng.

My research interests include Natural Language Processing, Generative AI and Data Mining. Here are some directions my previous work covered:

Multi-Agent LLM Framework Development for Paper Ideation

Developed a multi-agent system using CrewAI to generate new research ideas from literature reviews and keywords.

Data-Driven Analysis of AI/ML Labor Mobility and Heterogeneity

The project explores the labor mobility of AI/ML researchers from academia to industry and examines the heterogeneity among knowledge producers in AI/ML research.

Flood Forecasting of Small and Medium Rivers Based on LSTM

Developed an LSTM-based model to improve rainfall-runoff and flood prediction, by using large-scale spatiotemporal data to improve predictive accuracy.
